Live a day with our tour.
Chusmiza should be the first obligatory step for all tourists that venture to the Altiplano. The reason is that this small Aymara town is about 3,200 meters above sea level, which makes it a strategic point to acclimatize before continuing to climb to other locations to avoid mountain sickness or punting. From the moment you set foot in Chusmiza, you will lose all telephone and internet signals, therefore the only thing you have to pay attention to is nature and enjoy the tranquility of the place. You can hike to Cerro Chapire where there is a pucará and if the tourist has a good eye you can even find ceramics from the colonial era or you can also see petroglyphs. After the walk the reward is the terma. It may not be the most visually appealing, but once in appearances they stop importing. These waters reach about 40 degrees that can renew even the most exhausted santiaguino. A good idea is to go at sunset and return at night with a visual show of stars that you can rarely witness.
There is no lunch service available on this tour, since it is OUTDOOR mode. So there will be a time for feeding.
